Clarín.com, one of the biggest newspaper in Argentina, published an article (on its homepage!) about the campaign developed by Correa and Guerrini describing some pieces of my work. Also, they published an animation that I’ve done with Javier Jauregui and Sergio Iribarne.
Another great video of the french duo Justice with a retro aesthetic back to the 80’s and that reminds me of the intro movies that we enjoy in our homes video cassette player.

On August 3rd ,4th and 5th was held F3 World Design Congress and once again Flavio Mammini was invited to speak. This time her conference was titled «Strategic alliances, new rules of the game» for which I had the pleasure of working again with Arol Echenique in the design and development of the multimedia presentation.
The agency Madre create a hilarious commercial for Exquisita cakes in wich a lot of children dressed as puppets and mascots enjoy a delicious cake for a Saturday afternoon dancing to the rythm Do the Whirlwind of the band Architecture in Helsinki.
I had told you about AIDES and the video for their 2005 campaign. However, they had surprised us since their 2004 campaign with a video titled «Sugar Baby Love» also thinked by the agency TBWA / Paris focused on the gay community with music by The Rubbet’s. Another example that VIH / AIDS doesn’t make differences between race, age or sexual preference. You can find more info in french here.
If it is about good videos… let’s go dance with the frenchies Justice!. It’s amazing their new video made of a combination of motion grapchis + film. The t-shirts design was realized by SoMe. Those who are interested look for the «unfinished» version with an end which seems (particularly for me) more original. Do the dance!.
«Let’s talk about marketing with specialists» is the name of the First Conference on Marketing to be held at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the UNLP. As CEO of Grafikar, on May 5th Flavio Mammini presented his company as a case study. On this occasion, I made the design and development of multimedia material with Arol Echenique.
The Sneaux shoes company launched an extremely original commercial directed by PES (Adam Pesapane) which was done entirely with a stop motion technique called pixilation in wich we can see a skater using another person as a table. PES saids that «this spot is a great example of the breadth of stop-motion. If something exists in the real world, it can be animated».
After about two months of work, visualquimia launchs new website. Completely renovated, this version (v2) is simple and functional, entirely realized in html + css and fully of works to see. Enjoy it!
Sportlife a chewing gum brand from Holland used an incredible advertising technique called «beamvertising». Images of a skater in motion are projected onto the walls of the big cities of The Netherlands. Awesome!
AIDES is the first French association to fight HIV / AIDS. Their awareness campaigns are characterized by clear, direct language, without spin. Her pieces speak the same language as young people. On this occasion, I want to share with you «Baby Baby», the video that was conducted by the agency TBWA/Paris for the 2005 campaign with music by The Vibrators. Flavio Mammini will be guest speaker with her talk «Discs packaging with body and soul» at the design event Designea that will take place on October 27th and 28th in the city of Posadas (Misiones, Argentina). So he asked me to design a 2007 calendar related to the talk that he will deliver as a gift.
As part of the staff of Guerrini Design Island studio on Saturday, November 4th, in the context of the course «Design in the West», I’ll be speaking at the workshop «Introduction to web design».
You probably remember the Sony Bravia commercial from last year. This year, the agency Fallon surprises us again with this amazing production featuring argentinean Juan Cabral as creative director. This time Glasgow (Scotland) was the city invaded by the color. It was used 70.000 liters ecologic paint, 622 barrels of explosives, 1.700 detonators, 455 mortars, 330 meters of steel pipes and 57 miles of copper wire.
On September 21st and 22nd will be held the First International Congress of Design and Technology in the city of La Plata (Argentina). Organized by the Technology on Visual Communication Design cathedra from the Fine Arts Faculty (La Plata National University), as a member of staff I am in charge of carrying out the animations.

This time, we will be in Andean highlands. Gaucho Computer is a design congress to be held on May 26th, 27th and 28th in the city of San Martin de los Andes (Neuquen, Argentina). Flavio and Carlos Mammini will be giving a conference and a workshop and they commissioned to me the design and development of the multimedia material.
